About YuvedaLife
Welcome, I'm Yuvika
I help people cultivate greater balance, clarity and self-understanding by making traditional Vedic wisdom practical for modern life. I see clients in person in Buffalo, NY and online across the US.
My story
Growing up in India, I was introduced to yoga, meditation and mantra from an early age. These practices were part of my school years and gave me an early connection to Vedic traditions.
Years later, Vedic wisdom took on a deeper and more personal meaning during a period of significant challenge. After experiencing grief, stress and emotional overwhelm, I felt disconnected from myself and unsure how to regain stability.
I turned more deeply toward Ayurveda, yoga, meditation and Vedic astrology. My exploration of Jyotish developed through independent study of the teachings and writings of K. N. Rao, alongside a deeper practice of Ayurveda, meditation and other Vedic traditions.
Through daily routines, mindful nutrition, movement, breathwork, meditation and greater self-understanding, these traditions helped me reconnect with my natural rhythms and find greater grounding and clarity.
What began as an early connection grew into a deeper exploration of how traditional Vedic wisdom can be applied to modern life.
Today, through YuvedaLife, I support individuals seeking greater balance, self-understanding and a more intentional way of living, adapting the guidance to each person and the realities of modern life.
My approach
Each person is unique, so guidance starts with you rather than a fixed set of rules.
Ayurveda provides a framework for understanding your individual mind-body constitution, while yoga, meditation, mantra and Vedic astrology offer additional ways to understand yourself and support greater balance in daily life.
Depending on your needs, guidance may include constitution-based lifestyle practices, daily routines (Dinacharya), food and spices based on traditional Ayurvedic principles, yoga and breathwork, meditation, mantra or insights from Vedic astrology.
The focus is on making these traditions practical and sustainable within modern life, identifying what is relevant to you rather than asking you to follow an idealized routine.
I also work with people who use modern wellness tools and want to bring traditional practices in alongside them. All guidance is educational, non-medical, non-diagnostic and focused on general wellbeing.
Background and training
My approach is shaped by professional experience, formal Ayurvedic education and a longstanding study of Vedic traditions.
